Ongoing Support
We are committed to helping you not just feel better-but stay better. We advise you to make follow-up appointments with your provider to help track your progress and personal needs. Ketamine is not a one size fits all therapy.
We believe ketamine therapy can be a springboard to deeper healing—and we are honored to help guide that process in a safe, professional, and caring setting.
Is Ketamine Therapy Right for You?
If you have been struggling with mental health challenges and traditional options haven’t worked, ketamine treatment may offer a new path forward.

Preparing for Your First Infusion
Before your first ketamine infusion, we will review a few important steps to help ensure the experience is as effective and comfortable as possible:
-
Avoid alcohol or recreational drugs for at least 24 hours before and after treatment.
-
Refrain from taking opioids, benzodiazepines, sedatives and stimulant medications 8 hours prior to the infusion. During your consultation the provider and nurse will go over your medications and personal needs.
-
Take all other medications as prescribed.
-
Get a good night's rest before your appointment.
We also recommend:
-
Bringing an eye mask (available at our office)
-
Using calming music and headphones during the session
-
Keeping your cell phone on silent—this is time for you
You are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and arrive relaxed. Our staff will welcome you into a calming, private infusion room where everything is designed to help you feel safe and supported.
The Infusion Experience
Your IV ketamine infusion will last approximately 40–60 minutes. Here’s what typically happens:
IV Placement: A small catheter is placed in your arm to administer a controlled, low dose of ketamine.
Settle In: You’ll relax in a comfortable chair, often with dim lighting, soft music, and minimal distractions.
The Experience: You may begin to feel lighter, more introspective, or as if you’re in a dreamlike state. Many patients describe a sense of calm detachment from intrusive thoughts or emotional pain.
Throughout the session, our licensed medical team will monitor your vital signs and ensure your comfort. You’re never alone—we’re here every step of the way.
After the Infusion
Once the infusion ends, we will guide you through a short recovery period (typically 30 minutes) as the immediate effects wear off. It’s common to feel a bit groggy, introspective, or emotionally open.
You will need someone to drive you home, as we do not recommend operating a vehicle after your treatment.
After each session, we take time to debrief with you—what you felt, what stood out, and how you’re feeling afterward. Everyone’s response to ketamine is unique, and this feedback helps us fine-tune your treatment plan for the best possible results.
Some patients notice improvement after just one or two infusions. For others, relief builds gradually over the initial treatment series.
Feedback helps us fine-tune your treatment plan for the best possible outcome. We highly recommend coordinating with your therapist as well to process any emotions or experiences that came up during your treatment.
Your Initial Consultation
Your journey starts with a psychiatric evaluation with one of our providers followed by a consultation with our nursing staff. This is where we get to know you—your history, symptoms, previous treatments, and goals for recovery.
We will explain how ketamine works on the brain’s neural pathways to promote healing, especially when traditional medications or therapy haven’t been effective. Our team will answer your questions, address any concerns, and design a treatment plan specifically tailored to your needs.
